Tasta Nursing Home is a geriatric nursing home with room for 145 patients and 27 day-care users. We are a not-for-profit organization and are the largest privately-run nursing home in Stavanger, Norway, although we are funded by the Public Sector. We have a large multi-professional staff consisting of nurses, assistant nurses, doctors, assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapist and priest as well as administrative, catering and technical staff.

We have a large number of foreign workers and welcome people of all nationalities. If you are a resident of the EU or European Economic Area, you have an automatic right to work in Norway. Otherwise you can apply for a work permit. Professional qualifications needs a Norwegian authorization. Good oral Norwegian is demanded.

We have modern buildings where each patient has their own private room with bathroom. We have a specialist department for 24 patients with dementia.
